Institutional Weakness

The college is situated in a rural background. It is also belonging to one of the socially and economically most backward districts of Tamil Nadu.
The non-teaching and supporting staff strength needs to be increased according to the increasing students’ strength.
Health related facilities such as ‘flush toilets’, ‘sophisticated urinary system’, and ‘napkin vending kiosks’ are not sufficient compared to the existing strength of the women students and staff members.
Most of the students travel long distance every day. Lack of frequent transport facilities also consumes considerable time to reach home. Canteen facilities need to be created for those who are away long hours from home.
Since majority of the students are first-generation learners, they are lacking in their basic communication skills and parental support. Remedial classes have to be organized for slow learners in all the streams.
